OK. I find their chassis quite ugly, but I'm curious to read their reply.

I see a possible problem with wooden chassis: heat dissipation.

(Actually Iameco's one shouldn't be affected since wood seems to be only under the motherboard.)

Even more so. Bigger is the budget, smaller (in %) became the difference between the costs. In any case we are speaking about a metal used for food and beverage packaging: it's more expensive than plastic, but it's not gold.

I think chassis design should be wonderful, to make the product attractive (obviously the content too must be better than the alternatives).

Maybe the same design (or similar/compatible) could be used for making chassis in various materials.
