Just some ideas for case:

I think one option could be to use some smaller scale vertical market company to do the case design (modify slightly their existing design to house a PowerPC board).

I find it pretty usable to use a tablet with bluetooth/wireless/wired keyboard/touchpad/mouse (a old prototype tablet without a working touch).

And the tablet cover can be such that holds the tablet+keyboard like a notebook/laptop would have it.

non material:
-Currently work at tablet computer R&D firm (ARM, intel), mainly automated tests & environment development
-NDA with freescale for some PowerPC material (for own hobbystudies about building a PPC computer)
