Just some ideas for case:

I think one option could be to use some smaller scale vertical market company to do the case design (modify slightly their existing design to house a PowerPC board).

I find it pretty usable to use a tablet with bluetooth/wireless/wired keyboard/touchpad/mouse (a old prototype tablet without a working touch).

And the tablet cover can be such that holds the tablet+keyboard like a notebook/laptop would have it.

Amiga & PowerPC niche hobbyist.
SW Engineer by profession, HW engineering as an interest area...
It would be great to be able to contribute to the future of Power Architecture home computing!


Something powerpc notebook related...

HW:
-SAM440ep-mini (PPC440 based computer, running AmigaOS4.1)
-MacMinis and a PowerBook (G4 CPU, all running MorphOS)
-Funduino Uno
...

non material:
-Currently work at tablet computer R&D firm (ARM, intel), mainly automated tests & environment development
-NDA with freescale for some PowerPC material (for own hobbystudies about building a PPC computer)

Hope to be able soon to share my "CommunityComputer" -ideas... :o
